Right of Withdrawal Notice (EU Consumers)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers in the European Union generally have a statutory right to cancel a contract within 14 days without giving any reason. However, there are specific rules for digital content.

1. Exception for Digital Content

Spanish Driving Theory is a digital service. By law, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content if the performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

2. Immediate Access at Checkout

Because most users want to start studying immediately, we offer instant access to our premium content upon subscription.

To provide immediate access, we require you to check the following consent box during checkout:

Checkbox text at checkout:
"I consent to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal."

By checking this box and completing the purchase, you get immediate access to all premium features, but you waive your statutory 14-day right to cancel the initial purchase for a full refund.

Note: This waiver only applies to the one-time 14-day statutory withdrawal right. You still have the ongoing right to cancel your auto-renewing subscription at any time, as described in our Terms of Service, meaning you won't be charged for the next billing cycle.

3. If You Do Not Consent

If you do not check the consent box, we cannot provide you with immediate access to the premium content. In this scenario, you would need to wait the full 14-day withdrawal period before your access begins.

If you choose to wait, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within that 14-day period by contacting us at hello@spanishdrivingtheory.com or by using the model withdrawal form below.

4. Model Withdrawal Form

Complete and return this form only if you have NOT consented to immediate access and wish to withdraw from the contract within the 14-day waiting period.
